2013 REGISTRATION INFORMATION


The Brant and District Football Club are gearing up for another exciting year of Bisons football.

Judging by the requests for registration information by parents and players alike it is apparent that football is more popular than ever in our community. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2013 Bisons Football Program in both our spring rep and fall house league seasons.

The Brant and District Football Club has worked hard to provide you with as many benefits as possible when you make the decision to register your child in the Bisons Football Program. The direct benefit is that your child will enjoy his/her time developing their football skills and making new friends while learning how the game of football is played but you also receive other benefits as well, including:

• Four home games, Four away games, Possible play-off games and at least two practices a week
• Majority of the equipment needed to play is supplied including the helmet, shoulder pads and pants
• Season ending banquet
• Players keep their jersey
• Spring season players receive indoor training
• Spring season players receive transportation to away games
• Prepares players for high school football
• Actively promote players who wish to play football at the university level
• Actively promotes players who wish to play for the Hamilton Hurricanes of the CJFL
• Reduced cost for registered players who participate in the annual Grassroots Prospects/Bisons Combine
• Insurance coverage

2013 FALL HOUSE LEAGUE SEASON


The 2013 fall house league season is one all our coaches, players and parents are looking forward to after a very successful 2012 where the Bantam Red team won their division’s championship, the Peewee Red team the division’s consolation championship and all the players had fun, met new friends and developed their football skills. Last year, we had a waiting list for some teams, so make sure you register early to ensure that your child has a spot reserved on a team and avoid being disappointed by being told they have to go on a waiting list.

2013 Fall Registration Fees


Bantam (born 1999, 2000): $325.00
Peewee (born 2001, 2002): $325.00
Atom (born 2003, 2004): $250.00
Tyke (born 2005, 2006): $250.00

*Registration fee includes all equipment except for cleats, discount cards and the player keeps the jersey.

Coaches and practice The head coaches will be selected at the end of June with practices beginning in mid-July.

TIMBIT PROGRAM


The BDFC is very proud of its Timbit Program. This program is unique for Ontario and allows our youngest children to begin to understand how football is played while feeling like a big kid in their helmet and shoulder pads. The program runs from May until the end of July with the players keeping their jersey.

Other Timbit Program Events Timbit Day at spring rep season Varsity game The Timbit players come out on the field for the Varsity game coin toss and get to play a mini game during half time.
